The recognition further highlights the contribution of local businesses to Nigeria’s maritime economy through employment creation, workforce development and the expansion of operational capabilities.
Investing in People and Operational Excellence
Beyond business growth, MSL continues to recognise the importance of developing the people and systems that support its operations. The company’s workforce training initiatives, including its port and cargo training programme, demonstrate its continuing focus on strengthening employee competence, supervision, safety awareness and operational efficiency.
These efforts are particularly important in the maritime industry, where effective coordination, skilled personnel and adherence to safety procedures contribute significantly to the smooth running of port operations. The recognition by MARCON reinforces the importance of maintaining these standards while continuing to improve service delivery across the company’s areas of operation.
