Born on 16th November 1970, by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ubogu of Ozoro in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria.
He obtained his First School Leaving Certificate [FSLC] between 1974 to 1980 at Ashaka Primary School, Ashaka, and his WASSC at Ibrede Grammar School, Ibrede, between 1980 to 1985, all in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State.
In the quest to further his education, he proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University [OAU], where he read Personal Management and Industrial Relations between 2001 to 2005. He has also attended several management courses both in Nigeria and abroad.
Owing to his sterling achievements, the European American University Commonwealth of Dominica conferred him with the prestigious Honourary Doctorate Degree of Science [D.Sc] Honoris Causa in Leadership and Corporate Governance with all its rights and privileges.
The Japanese slogan “Yashinai Waikangai” that is, “Good thinking, Good product” is a fitting catchphrase that described a renowned technocrat and maritime expert par excellence, in the person of Dr. Michael Orobosa Ubogu, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Micura Services Limited.
Having worked with several private companies where he rose from a factory worker to the Production Manager of Dangote Salt Plc, 1999-2007. He founded Micura Services Limited, the first Stevedoring Company in Nigeria to be ISO 9001-2015 certified in 2019.
His brainchild, Micura Services Limited is known for world-class bulk bagging, loading and offloading, discharging and connecting to vessels, equipment leasing, and outsourcing manpower services.
Given his inventiveness, dynamism, and predilection in the deployment of modern and standard equipment for the rationalization and progressiveness of maritime industry in Nigeria, his insatiable ardor for proficiency and unalloyed enthusiasm for restructuring and modernization in the industry is palpably conspicuous.
Dr. Ubogu, the Ajegunle raised entrepreneur is one of the youngest maritime entrepreneurs whose humanitarian activities over the years have engendered positivism in helping to create employment opportunities for teeming youths in Nigeria.
Due to his visionary, excellent service delivery, and people-oriented leadership style, Micura Services Limited, the company he founded on February 16, 2007, with only 3 staff, has grown to 4000 of both direct and indirect staff. Micura Services Limited is the first Stevedore in Nigeria to receive NIMASA Best Stevedoring Company 2018.
Mr. Tunde Alapini is the Executive Director, Logistics & Distribution of Micura Services Limited, a position he held since 2008 till date.
He holds a Ordinary National Diploma [OND] in Marketing from Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti [1996] and Higher National Diploma in Business Administrations and Management from Ondo State Polytechnic, Owo, [2001], he is also a member of the Nigerian Chartered Institute of Management.
He started his career with Dangote Group as a Marketing Officer, 1996 – 1997. In 2008, Dangote Group decided to diversify into manufacturing, he was deployed as the Admin/Protocol Officer in Projects Department, [1998 – 2003] and later became the Administrative Manager at Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc [2004 – 2007].
In the year 2008, he joined the Micura Services Ltd as the Executive Director – Logistics & Distribution, the office he holds till date. He is responsible to oversee the day-to-day of the company’s clients’ operations.
Barakat Bolanle Osuolale was born on May 24, 1994, to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Osuolale in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. She obtained her First School Leaving Certificate and later completed her secondary education, earning her WASSC and GCE.
She pursued her higher education at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), where she earned a Bachelor of Technology in Architecture in 2018. She further advanced her education with a Master’s in Environmental Design from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in 2022.
In her professional journey, she has gained extensive experience in accounting and finance. She began her career at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Kano during her NYSC service year (2018–2019), where she worked as an Accounting Assistant, handling financial reconciliations, payment processing, and budget collation.
She later joined Flexi Marina Investments Limited as a Group Finance and Administrative Officer in 2022. In this role, she managed financial statements under IFRS, performed bank reconciliations, handled tax filings, and participated in internal and external audits.
Barakat is currently the Head of Internal Audit at Micura Services Limited, where she ensures compliance with financial regulations, improves financial controls, and oversees auditing functions to enhance organizational efficiency.
She is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with ICAN and holds additional certifications in Financial Modeling & Valuation Analysis (FMVA), Project Management, and Data Analytics. She has attended various professional seminars and training programs to stay updated with industry trends.
Barakat is recognized for her strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial documentation, and ability to manage multiple financial systems. She is a dedicated professional committed to excellence in accounting and finance.
Mr. Eli, Aseminachi Daopuye is a certified Human Relationship Management Professional. He hails from Okrika, Rivers State. He became Graduate Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) in 2013. He also has a proficiency certificate in Management, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) in 2013 and also in the same year, he obtained a professional certificate in Project Management. In 2012/2013, he underwent a National Anti-corruption Volunteer Corps training at Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria.
Mr. Eli, Aseminachi Daopuye is a graduate of Human Physiology, College of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He delved into the Banking sector in 2015 as a Direct Sales Agent with First City Monument Bank Plc. And rose to a Relationship Manager in 2018 before his exit in the banking sector and transited into the Maritime industry after undergoing some professional trainings with Charkin Nigeria in 2019 and 2020 where he obtained the Standard of Training, Certification and Watch-keeping (STCW)/ Basic Safety Training certificates and also proficiency for Seafarers with Security Awareness/ISPS certificates.
In 2020 he joined Micura Services Ltd. An established stevedoring, outsourcing and equipment leasing company as the HR/Admin. Officer. In 2022, he became the Senior HR/Admin. Officer. Due to his sterling leadership/administrative skills and dexterous qualities, in the same year, he became the HR Manager and the Company’s Management Representative. He is currently, the Group Head, HR/Admin. and also the Company’s Management Representative.
As a Management Representative/Quality Management System (ISO 9001;2025) Audit Coordinator, he actively participated in several continuous professional development courses organized by the Standard Organisation of Nigeria and Tresexellent Improvement Services Ltd, in partnership with BQSR Quality Assurance Pvt. Ltd.
His zest for personal growth/development, drove him to further earn a certificate in strategic internal communications and public speaking and also a certified participant in the 10th annual national workshop for private employment agencies and other employers. Additionally, he won the prestigious maiden edition of the company’s employee of the year award.
Gabriel has worked both in the construction and maritime industry for over 30 years and has held several managerial positions to his credit. He has attended a series of training on safety, labor handling, job ethics, and administrative management by the Industrial Training Fund [ITF]
He has a vast knowledge of stevedoring and port operation with a specialization on management.
Godwin Bodu hail from Patani Local government, Delta state Nigeria, He has over Fifteen(15) years of experience in the technology and marine time industry with a strong background in system administrator, network management and project coordination. He is dedicated to ensure our technology infrastructure operate efficiently and securely.
Godwin Bodu has his first school leaving certificate(FSLC) with Arackan Barrack Pry school, Apapa, Secondary School certificate(WASSCE) with Command Day Secondary School, Ojo, Lagos. He holds higher national Diploma(HND) in Computer Science from Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra state, Nigeria. He had attended series of training, workshops, and seminars. Both on leadership and his IT career in networking security certification, Biometric identity management security, IP/digital surveillance, Vsat installation etc. He holds Master Degree in Information Technology(MIT) from Department of Engineering, faculty of science and Technology, Ladoke Akintola university of Technology(LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo state, Nigeria.
He had successfully set up numerous IT Project, the organizations’ IT infrastructures, E-Form for birthday, E-bio data form for database and employee record analysis to reduce the use of paper, using IT tools to provide useful solution to business challenges and has wealth of knowledge on ICT. My name is Bayo Olufunmi Ogunfuyi, and I was born on September 19, 1984, in Ilaje land, Ondo State, Nigeria, to the wonderful family of Mr. and Mrs. Ogunfuyi. My educational journey began at Christ Assembly Primary School, followed by Oluwa Memorial Secondary School, where I completed my WAEC exams.
In 2008, I proudly graduated with a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Ado-Ekiti. Following this, I served my country through the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Yobe State in 2009.
Throughout my career, I have pursued various professional courses focused on developing my managerial skills, earning certifications that have bolstered my expertise.
While I was studying, I joined Micura Service Ltd, starting as a Supervisor. My hard work and dedication led to promotions, and I eventually became the Operations Officer, then Supply Officer, and Supply Chain Manager. Currently, I serve as the General Manager of Logistics and Distribution.
In my role, I oversee key operations in several areas, including Nascon facilities in Apapa, Ota, Port Harcourt, Oregun, and Ajegunle, as well as Olam Pasta in Ikorodu and Beachland/Warehouse, and Olam Flour Mills across multiple locations.
I take pride in my ability to work under pressure and manage operational challenges effectively. My journey has been fulfilling, and I am passionate about making a positive impact in the logistics and distribution sector.

In his journey as a master mariner he has undergo various seminars and training on modern cargo handling were he was awarded various certificates on cargo handling such as pa Michael imodu institute of labour facilitated by NIMASA.he is a trained ISO auditor.
In was employed as a supervisor at josepdam terminal with a duty to oversee safe cargo discharge.due to his effective of bulk and general cargo handling he was promoted to the position of operations manager josepdam operation where he spent 10 years.in his recognition of cargo hazardous and dangerous cargo handling,he was seconded to other operations as APMT and ECMT to oversee the establishment of micura operations.

race Nneoma Ibiam is a compassionate and dedicated registered nurse with a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care. Born on September 17, 1996, in Unwana Afikpo North LGA, Ebonyi State, Nigeria, Grace pursued her nursing education at the College of Nursing Sciences, Mater Misericordia Afikpo, and the School of Midwifery Mater Misericordia Afikpo, earning her Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery (RN, RM) in 2017 and 2020, respectively. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc)
Grace began her nursing career at Mater Misericordia Hospital, where she gained valuable experience in various areas of nursing, including pediatrics, first aid, emergency care, and critical care during her clinical postings. She worked as a consultant trainer on Maternal and Newborn Health, providing low-dose, high-frequency (LDHF) training sponsored by USAID/IHP. In this role, she trained skilled birth attendants on maternal and newborn health.
Grace also worked at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) as a staff nurse in the Emergency Unit. She collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to develop and facilitate sessions on helping mothers and their babies survive, identifying danger signs, and seeking advanced care. Additionally, she implemented patient care plans and ensured optimal patient outcome.
Currently, Grace works as a charge nurse at Micura Services Limited (MSL). She continues to demonstrate her commitment to excellence in nursing, providing compassionate and evidence-based care to her clients. Her responsibilities include offering first aid services, health education, and regular monitoring and checks to port workers.Grace is dedicated to ongoing professional development, staying updated with the latest research and best practices in nursing. She has attended various workshops, conferences, and training programs to enhance her skills and knowledge, enabling her to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situation.She is a professional member of
Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
